MatterX Precedent Builder for Microsoft Word

MatterX Precedent Builder for Microsoft Word is an add-in that assists in building legal precedent document templates for MatterX. The add-in gives the user quick access to MatterX data fields without leaving Microsoft Word. The document templates can then be used by the document automation engine in MatterX to produce personalised documents.

Inserting fields and snippets

The MatterX Precedent Builder provides a side panel with quick access to merge fields from MatterX. Either copy or insert the field into the desired location, format it and save the document template back into MatterX.

Loading a custom schema

If you have a custom JSON schema for a specific matter you can either drag the file onto the plugin panel or browse for the file.
